out of place

I cannot believe I was laid off for three months. In fact, if it was not those friends keep asking me what I am doing these days, I am kind of happy with myself. But, as saying goes when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Therefore, in Tibet I better do as most of Tibetans do, in other word, just blindly follow the center government’s order and role, and try to be a Chinese. But, I know I cannot, so, I always feel out of place in Lhasa, and sometime even few foreign in my own country.

Really wanna start a new job, or maybe I should just go to Africa or other Asian countries as a volunteer, so that at least I can enjoy my work and still help others.
