Thanakha

My first Thanakha was given by Pan as a present from Ruili. I remember I used it as some kind of facial mask. But, in Myanmar locals wearing Thanakha as make up, and also said it provides protection from sunburn, and removal of acne and smooth skin. So, wearing Thanakha is acceptable in different ages.

Waiwai, a very sweet girl in Mandalay. That day, I was at her home and saw she was making the Thanakha cream from Thanakha tree.

On the road, someone told me Thanakha is mainly worn by girls. If a man wears Thanakha then people consider him as a gay. But, I wondered.
